Site work for a civil project in Madison, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of November 26, 2024, the project was awarded to Hemphill Construction but the awarded amount is not available. Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, a Bid Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of his Bid, payable to City of Madison as bid security. Bidders shall also submit a current financial statement if requested by the City. The successful Bidder must provide both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond (each in the amount of one hundred percent [100%] of the Contract) upon execution of the Contract. The Contract Time is 450 calendar days with a liquidated damages provision of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars and 00/100 Dollars ($750.00) per calendar day thereafter. The City of Madison reserves the right to reject any and or all bids, waive technicalities, informalities, or irregularities in the bids received, solicit new bids, or to choose that bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Madison. In general, the project consists of construction of approximately 11,500 linear feet of 12-inch diameter wastewater force main, and existing lift station rehabilitation/upgrades.
