It is the intent of Charlotte County Community Services to secure the services of a licensed Contractor to complete exterior park rules signage fabrication and installation. This will include removal and disposal of existing signs, where applicable, at multiple park locations. Estimated Budget is $100,000. Local licenses required: Certified/Registered General or Certified/Registered Sign Electrical. SCOPE OF SERVICES: Specifications for the requested signs and frames are as follows: A. Park Rules Signs: Size: 36 x 48 All sign sizes are identical, but there are variations of these that will be determined by park classification. There are 10 distinct variations of the 36 x 48 signs. Examples provided as Exhibits A thru J. Material specifications are .080 Aluminum with digital print graphic on UV and weather resistant vinyl. Signs to be screwed to frame with 9 x 1 1/2 (min.) deck screws 6 on-center all around perimeter. Specifications include general standards for typefaces, logos, icons, sizes, and colors. Colors are identified per branding documents (to be provided). Artwork is to be reviewed and approved by Charlotte County Community Services designee before full fabrication of the signage shall commence. B. Park Rules Sign Frames: Frame size: 4 x 8. Shall be constructed according to provided Standard Park Rules Sign shop drawing. Provided as Exhibit K. This bid is only for the fabrication and installation of the 36x 48 signs and frames. Materials will include: Wood - #1 Dense pressure treated southern yellow pine. Metal - Carriage bolts, nuts & washers shall be hot dipped galvanized deck screws made for treated wood applications w/ polymer coating. Concrete for Footing - High strength 4,000 PSI.
