The Supplier will provide the materials and labor as identified in the Specifications. b. State and Local Sales and Use Taxes shall be paid by the Contractor unless such taxes are not applicable to the Contract. Maple Leaf Residences - Roofs Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of either a certified or cashier's check or an irrevocable letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, or a bid bond in accordance with R.C. 153.54 (B) and R.C. 153.571 in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount. Such check or bid bond to be made in favor of the Geauga County Board of Commissioners and shall be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted and a contract awarded to the bidder, the contract will be duly executed and its performance properly secured. The successful bidder is required to furnish a bond for the faithful performance of the contract in a sum of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price for the complete work. Said bond to be that of an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio meeting the requirements of the O.R.C.
