As of August 21, 2025, this project is awaiting funding. Information regarding a design firm and timeline for construction have not yet been established. Statement of qualifications for design services, grant management, environmental, and construction management for the West Little York Safe Routes to School project. The proposed project will design intersection and railroad crossing improvements, bus stop access improvements and upgrade or install 6-foot-wide sidewalks on both sides of the corridor on West Little York Rd. from Chateau Forest Dr. to TC Jester Blvd., along Victory Dr. from TC Jester Blvd. to Alabonson Rd., and on the west side of TC Jester Blvd. from West Little York to Victory Dr. Crossing improvements include pavement markings, pedestrian refuge islands, and ADA-compliant ramps. The deadline to ask questions is 9/06/2024 5:00 PM CST. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
