The purpose of this Bid is to contract with a qualified Firm/Contractor to weatherize Cholla Elementary School to prevent further interior and exterior damage to the building. This projects scope of work involves, but is not limited to, the following A. Installation of elastomeric coatings on all masonry and stucco walls and soffits. B. Installation of specified paint on all exterior doors, door and window frames, wood siding and trim, and metal railings and trim. C. Removal and replacement of all exterior joint sealants, including masonry control joints, window and door perimeters, building perimeter to sidewalks, and pipe and conduit wall penetrations. D. Repair and fill of all cracks and voids on exterior walls, columns, and soffits including masonry, exposed aggregate panels, stucco, and wood. E. Repair of holes in modular building wood siding. F. Replacement of weathered and rotten wood trim. G. Excavation of masonry foundation walls for inspection, repairs as needed, and installation of below grade waterproofing. Questions Due Date: Sep 3rd 2024, 12:00 PM MST An irrevocable bid security payable to the Casa Grande Elementary School District in the amount of 10.00% of the total bid price is required This security shall be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashiers check and must be in the possession of the District by the due time and date cited for this solicitation. Upon contract award, the Firm/Contractor will be required to furnish within 48 hours an irrevocable security in the amount of 100.00% of Payment security shall be in the amount of 100.00% of the total contract price and be payable to the Casa Grande Elementary School District. If the selected vendor fails to meet the substantial time requirements for the delivery and/or installed acceptable implementation of the project, liquidated damages of $500 per day may be assessed for each day beyond sunset 90 days after notice to proceed/PO date.
