Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Peers, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; and for the construction of a 30,434-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.
Proposed Child & Family Services Administration Building Township Road 1092 & Range Road 163 (5827'22.7" N, 11634'24.1" W) Beaver First Nation, Alberta The site is a portion of the quarter section legally described as NE 10-109-16 W5M and is located approximately 1.1km east of Range Road 163 on the south side of Township Road 1092, as shown on the site plans enclosed as Figures 1 and 2, Appendix II. At the time of geotechnical fieldwork, the site was an undeveloped vacant parcel wherein limited tree clearance was recently completed to provide access for drilling the test holes. The site generally sloped down from east to west with a maximum difference in elevation, based on the site topographic survey plan, of 2.4m. The proposed development is expected to comprise a typical, heated building and associated asphalt pavements. The proposed building will incorporate an at-grade main floor slab with no basement or crawlspace. The geodetic elevation of the main floor slab will be established at 301.725m. Additionally, the fieldwork scope included drilling test holes for a future garage and ring road west of the proposed building. However. details related to the future development were not known at the time of preparation of this report.
