The Incorporated Village of Lindenhurst is Soliciting Sealed Bids for the Multi-prime (General Construction, Electric, Hvac, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Alarm, and Plumbing) Proposals and Construction Of the Phase II Elements for the New Department of Public Works Building. Located at 121 Albany Avenue, New York 11757 NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE GRANTED Bid date notes: Each proposal must contain the full name or names of the party or parties making the same, and of all persons interested therein. The Village of Lindenhurst reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject all bids, and reserves the right to accept any part of, or all of any bid. Subject to the foregoing, the Village will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder. The Incorporated Village of Lindenhurst reserves the right to reject and declare invalid any and all bids in the best interests ofthe Village. The Village of Lindenhurst encourages bids for public contracts and subcontractors of those contracts by minority and women owned contractors and the Village of Lindenhurst may solicit bids and contracts from such entities with respect to the Contract noticed herein. Village of Lindenhurst for the coordination, purchasing, installation and execution of constructing all the required Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing elements for the completion of the additional exterior elements NOT part of Phase 1, and the finished interior of the new prefabricated Industrial/Department of Public Works (DPW) Building (Phase 2). Note: The Phase 2 General Contractor shall be responsible for the coordination of all the respective trades for the final completion of the entire project. The Phase 2 bid will include a thorough and complete coordination with the prefabricated building contractors and erectors, and the concrete foundation, foundation wall and concrete slab installers (the Phase 1 contract), in order to complete all exterior and interior work throughout the entire building. Exterior Architectural work as part of Phase 2 is to consist of the purchasing and installation of all exterior windows, man and overhead doors, exterior mechanical vents, fans and louvers, and all exterior lighting. Interior Architectural work as part of Phase 2 will include light gauge steel framing construction to include first floor interior wall construction, all ceiling grid, acoustical ceiling tile, interior lighting and lighting components, all wall and floor finishes and components, and interior cabinetry, as well as a second floor structure and demising wall components including access stair and wall construction. All office furniture, and pantry and/or break room appliances (i.e., refrigerators, microwave ovens and dishwashers) are the responsibility of the Village of Lindenhurst, but should be coordinated with contractors for installation. All plumbing fixtures and related components are included as indicated in the Architectural drawings. Phase 2 will also include all MEP installation and equipment as specified in the MEP drawings. Mechanical work will consist of all mechanical systems including equipment, ductwork and related components, and the installation of exterior components as listed above. Electrical work will consist of all electrical systems including equipment, electrical panels, power and lighting, and coordination with Mechanical systems as required. Electrical work will also include a Fire Alarm system, its' equipment and installation. Plumbing work will consist of the installation of all domestic water, gas and sanitary lines and should be coordinated with the concrete slab contractors. Plumbing equipment to include all fixtures as mentioned above, all plumbing equipment, piping and plumbing components as indicated in the MEP drawings. Plumbing work will also include a fire sprinkler system and all components as outlined in the Fire Sprinkler drawings, and will be installed under a separate application. The successful bidder will be required to coordinate with the all Phase 1 contractors to provide all underground utility connections to within five (5) feet of the building, at which time the Village of Lindenhurst will make further connections for all installed utilities. Any additional civil work surrounding the building i.e., compaction fill, storm water dry wells, bollards, concrete curbs and sidewalks, paving, parking striping and lighting, and overall landscaping will be completed by the Village of Lindenhurst under Phase 3.
