Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Abilene, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Construct a new permanent airtanker base at ABI to support existing Forest Service operations. The work generally includes construction of a new apron on the south side of Taxiway M including support infrastructure such as vehicle parking areas, access roadway improvements, and Forest Service operations infrastructure. The proposed improvements, as shown in attached Project Location Map, include the following: o Construct a new concrete apron south of Taxiway M to accommodate up to four (4) large airtanker (LAT) active retardant loading positions and four (4) additional LAT parking positions. o Airfield stormwater and drainage infrastructure improvements including inlets, pipe, and a stormwater pond with any necessary diversion structures. o Relocation of power and communication ducts, FAA duct banks within the project limits. o Relocation/abandonment of an existing Atmos natural gas line within the project limits. o Concrete trench and storage pits for retardant loading hoses and equipment. o Concrete parking area for Forest Service personnel. o Retardant delivery truck unloading and turnaround pavements. o Reconstruction and realignment of the existing vehicle service road between the ARFF facility and the airport security fence near Industrial Blvd. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any formalities and technicalities. Bid Security is not required.
