The Borough of State College (Borough) requests sealed proposals for professional services for Lead, Asbestos, Energy Audits, Radon, Pests and/or Mold for housing rehabilitation for Oct. 2024 -Dec. 2027. Proposals are requested for six separate services: 1. Lead risk assessment and clearance testing 2. Asbestos identification and remediation 3. Radon testing andremediation recommendations with cost estimates 4. Mold inspection, remediation and clearance 5. Pest inspection for wood destroying insects and animals with recommendations and/or treatment and the potential for short and long-termmonitoring 6. Energy audit, recommendations, and cost estimates The Borough may elect to award one contract for all services, or multiple contracts for any combination of one or more services. The project is funded through the Community Development Block Grant of HOME Investment Partnership Program and is subject to all related federal regulations. Minority and women owned businesses, and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to respond. The Borough of State College anticipates awarding contracts in the week of October 7, 2024. The Borough of State College reserves the right to reject any or all proposals; waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities or informalities in the procurement procedure; hold proposals for a period not to exceed 45 days from the date of receipt prior to awarding the contract; and to accept any proposal which it may deem to be in its best interest.
