Site work and paving for a road / highway in Tyrone, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Water Plant Road project involves removal of existing guiderail, excavation and grading of roadway subgrade, bituminous roadway paving, grade adjustment and cleaning of existing structures, and guiderail installation. Each bid is to be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or the bid bond on an approved Surety Company, in the amount of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount of the proposal. Check or bond shall be drawn in favor of Tyrone Borough Once the bids have been reviewed and prices have been compared, the bonds of all except the three lowest responsible bidders will be returned. When the agreement is executed, the remaining bid bonds will also be returned. The Borough reserves the rights to award in part, to reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, and to reject technical defects, irregularities, or omissions if, in its judgment, such actions are in the best interest of the Borough.
