New construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; and for the renovation of a educational facility.
Renovations to the existing Dilworth Latta Elementary School in Charlotte, NC to accommodate a new Middle School. All 1st tier subcontractors and suppliers are required to complete the prequalification process by completing the CMAR 1st Tier Master Prequalification Form. Interested bidders can contact D.A. MWSBE bidders are encouraged to submit the CMAR 1st Tier Master Prequalification Form for this construction project. As of February 25, 2026, the project is moving through construction documents while teams assess site conditions, prepare permit materials, and develop procurement plans. An architect and construction manager have been selected. Construction is expected to begin in July of 2026 and be completed by July of 2027. Bids are expected to start in late April 2026.
