The County of Renfrew (the County) has identified the Bonnechere Manor Property in the Town of Renfrew as a potential site for development of up to 40 modular style "tiny" homes. Bonnechere Manor is located at 470 Albert Street in the Town of Renfrew. The property is located at the corner of Stewart Street (Hwy 60), and Health Village Lane. The County would like to create a plan for the construction of a phased development for up to 40 modular homes in the Southeast section of the property, along Health Village Lane, with an approximate area of 0.8 Hectares (~2 acres). The units are anticipated to be slab on grade construction with a variety of floor areas from approximately 400 to 800 square feet. A map with aerial photography further illustrates the site within the property where the modular homes would be located. TIMELINE: An RFP for design has closed, award details are pending. Units will be modular. The County wishes to retain the services of a qualified consultant to undertake the engineering, planning, and design for this project which will form the submission of a site plan application to the Town of Renfrew.
