Road Needs Study. TIMELINE: A Request For Proposals has been issued by the Owner. The awarded proponent will complete a road needs study. The scope of the study includes all Township-owned roads but excludes all unassumed, county, provincial and private roads in the Township. Although scheduled to be awarded on October 9, 2024, it is requested that the project begin in early 2025 so that gravel roads can be evaluated during spring break-up. The project is also scheduled for an early 2025 start so that traffic counts from a separate speed study can be incorporated into needs analysis. Last, it is requested that the project be completed by June 11, 2025. The intent of this project is to produce a comprehensive road needs study that confirms/simplifies asset database, evaluates distresses and estimates needs of Township roads.
