Village of Williamsburg (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Williamsburg Wastewater System Improvements The Project includes the following Work: The rehabilitation of the two lift stations within the Village of Williamsburg. Rehabilitation for each lift station will include the replacement of two 3-HP pumps, and all appurtenances structural inspection and repairs of the wet well and pump vault along with the application of chemical resistant epoxy coating, and new KPSI level transducer. The project work also includes the rehabilitation of 9,186 feet of 8 inch sewer line by method of cured in place pipe. E-One grinder pumps will be installed at 3 private properties along with necessary piping, fittings and appurtenances connecting to an existing manhole. In addition, the project will include the rehabilitation of 45 manholes within the Village of Williamsburg. The manholes will need to be regrouted and repaired and lined with an epoxy coating. American Iron and Steel Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials.
