the Board of Education, Broken Bow Public Schools, are requested to perform Work on the following project: Broken Bow Middle School Improvements The Architect will provide document distribution. Each Bidder shall submit their Proposal in a sealed envelope. Enclosed with their Proposal shall be executed copies of the Non-Collusion and Business Relationship Affidavits as well as other documents listed in the Construction Documents. All bids not in compliance with the Construction Documents will be rejected. Each Bidder shall submit, with the Proposal, a Bidder's Bond as required in the State School Laws of Oklahoma and these Construction Documents. Such Bonds may be in the form of an irrevocable letter of credit, cashier's check or bid bond. Cash, personal and company checks are not acceptable. All such bonds shall be made payable to the Owner in an amount no less than five (5%) percent of the largest combination of the Base Proposal and any Alternates. The Contractor may be required to forfeit the Bid Bond, to the Owner, in the event the Contractor fails to execute a Contract or fails to provide the required Bonding and Insurances. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after the date of this Bid Opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and waive any informality or irregularity in any Bids received. Document Notes : One paper set of Construction Documents will be made available to all qualified Contractor's for which a one hundred fifty dollar ($150.00) refundable deposit will be required. Cost for additional copies will not be refundable. Electronic (CD) copies are available for fifty dollars ($50.00), each; non-refundable. Electronic Documents can be downloaded at no cost. Refundable deposits will be returned in full if the Construction Documents are returned to the Architect within seven (7) days of the time set for opening bids.
