Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Streator, Illinois. Working plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
As of October 10, 2024, only one bid is received and since there was only one bid that was substantially over estimate their number is not being released. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. Steel Building Contractors are now being solicited for the City of Streator Public Works Building Phase I Project. The project consists of the construction of a steel building shell for use as a Public Works Facility Question Deadline 09/16/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered The procurement will be subject to regulations contained in the Davis-Bacon Act (40 USC 276a through 276a5) as defined by the United States Department of Labor, and the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570). Bidders are also required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, as amended. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in 41 CFR 60- 4."
