The City is seeking Proposal Submissions for a comprehensive evaluation and strategic planning for the implementation of a Public Safety Broadband Network (PSBN) to meet the needs of the emerging data driven landscape in the existing cellular emergency communications infrastructure at the City of Hamilton align with strategies of all public safety entities (Hamilton Police Service, Hamilton Fire Department, Hamilton Paramedic Services and City operational areas) along with digital transformation and Internet of Things (IoT) opportunities and benefits, given the proposed municipal telecommunication infrastructure upgrade via PSBN services. The City is looking for a roadmap outlining an overview of the current state of City of Hamilton communications infrastructure and interoperability processes, followed by a view to future state telecommunications options available to the City, concluded by a complete business case including financial analysis of the finalist options to determine the best benefit to the City. There is no proposal security, performance security or labour and material payment security required for this Request for Proposals.
