The Authority aims to create a forward-looking and comprehensive strategy to manage improvements to our sewer system over future years. As a growing regional utility, the Authority aims to ensure that the sanitary collection system not only complies with local, state, and federal regulations, but also has the capacity to support the projected growth and the region's economic development, community growth and sustainability objectives for the future. Therefore, it is important for the Authority to accurately assess the current collection system's performance, to predict future sewer infrastructure needs and to allocate capital investment for planned system rehabilitation and replacement, system expansion, effective operation and maintenance measures to extend existing asset life and treatment facility upgrades. Last Day for Inquires: August 16, 2024 Response to all questions published by 5 pm EST, August 19, 2024 The Firm shall provide a statement of qualifications and a specific proposal to furnish all services as required in order to prepare a comprehensive SMP including the work described in this scope of service. The Firm shall research and collect all relevant data necessary to complete the SMP. The Firm is encouraged to propose modifications to the individual tasks listed below if the Firm can demonstrate innovative, advanced, and well thought-out methodologies that are not specifically identified in the task. These proposed additional modifications shall be identified as optional items. The Firm shall carefully control costs and resources, and complete assigned work on schedule. The Firm shall assign a project manager who will act as the Authority's primary contact and will be entirely responsible for the Firm's work and sub-consultant work, if applicable. To ensure the project remains on track, the Firm shall provide a monthly progress report and updated schedule which shall include a brief status of completed work, work anticipated to be completed in the next reporting period, and problems/obstacles identified during the reporting period.
