This is an invitation to bid on the purchase and installation of LED lights to illuminate the Town of Collierville water tower located on the Collierville Town Square. This contract will include but may not be limited to all conduit, wire connectors, hardware and other incidental items necessary for the complete and proper operation of the lighting and control system. The Contractor shall coordinate all work described in this section with all applicable plans and specifications. Project goals and expectations of finished product: Water tower to be illuminated every night with the option to dim lightsoperated manually or by photocell. Lights on tower support structure are to be manually operated for use during special events and shall not interfere with the tower's ladder. The elevated water tower is located within the Town of Collierville Water Plant #1 fenced compound at 124 N. Main Street. The water tower is approximately 165 feet tall with the walk platform 138 feet from ground level. This project will consist of the purchase of LED lights to be installed on the elevated walk platform on the water tower. Improvements are to be made to the electrical service within the on-site electrical supply building. The water plant and tower must remain in operation during the project. An add alternate bid includes the purchase of string lights to be installed on the support structure of the water tower as shown in the provided project drawings and specifications. Access into the plant during the bid solicitation process will be allowed during the pre-bid public meeting and on scheduled days confirmed by the project manager prior to bid opening.
