The City of Dothan (City) is soliciting bids for the inspection, maintenance, and purchase of various types of fire extinguishers located within the City of Dothan facilities and vehicles. The successful bidder will be required to inspect and service, as needed, all fire extinguishers located in the City facilities and vehicles; inspect and clean all exhaust hoods located in City facilities; and, inspect all fire suppression systems located in City facilities. All bid items are to be completed on an annual basis (according to the City of Dothan's fiscal year October to September). The bid award shall be for a period of one (1) year from the beginning of the City's Fiscal Year 2025 (October 01, 2024). Prices quoted shall remain in effect for that period. The City shall have the right to cancel the contract with 60 days written notice if the vendor does not uphold the requirements of the contract. The City of Dothan reserves the right to extend this contract for additional one (1) year periods as allowable by State Law which is currently a total of three (3) years.
