The project consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and materials for site grading and preparation, furnishing and placing of embankment and aggregate base, forming and finishing of a concrete trail with drainage piping and structures, handicapped ramps and detectable warning plates, flag pole inserts, pavement striping, rip-tap blanket, construction signing, restoration of adjacent grades, seeding and mulching and any other associated items to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by Koehler Engineering and Land Surveying, Inc. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2023 Edition including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. Submit All E-Verify Information. A certified or cashier=s check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The DBE Goal for this project is 5.0%. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids by the Cape Girardeau County Commission with MoDOT concurrence. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive all informalities, with MoDOT concurrence, not involving price, time or changes in work and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder.
