The Town of Smyrna will accept bids on the BASIN A SEWER REHABILITATION PHASE 2 work will include: Approximately 2,450 L.F. of existing 24" RCP sewer main rehabilitation by pipe bursting upsize to 30" HDPE, 3,300 L.F. of existing 18" RCP sewer main rehabilitation by pipe bursting upsize to 22" HDPE, 3,700 L.F. of existing 8" VCP and concrete sewer main rehabilitation by pipe bursting with 8" HDPE, 118 L.F. of existing 12-inch VCP and DIP sewer main rehabilitation by open-cut with 12" DIP for an ARAP creek crossing, point repairs of PVC sewer main, replacement of 27 sewer manholes with 5' diameter pre-cast manholes, epoxy spray liner rehabilitation of 19 manholes, installation of 19 inflow dish frame inserts, service lateral replacements, pre- and post-construction video inspection; by-pass pumping; pavement repair; erosion control and appurtenances. The project shall be completed fully within three hundred and sixty-five (365) consecutive calendar days. Bids may not be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening. Bidders may be required to obtain a Smyrna Business License. Refer to the contract documents for criteria. The Town of Smyrna reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities or informalities and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. Question Deadline 09/17/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding instruments shall be submitted to the A/E in writing. Replies will be issued by addenda that are mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the A/E as having received the bidding instruments. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of bids will not be answered.
