Renovation of a municipal facility in Gainesville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Interior Mezzanine Concrete Weight-Bearing Wall Repair and New Construction of an Adjacent Interior Concrete Barrier Wall for the Hall County Resource Recovery Recycling Center located at 1008 Chestnut Street SE Gainesville, GA 30501. Question Deadline 09/17/2024 Bidders must present all questions in writing and directed solely to the Issuing Officer at apenick@hallcounty.org. Contractors shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the Services. Subcontractors shall perform no work unless pre-approved in writing by the County. work. The Contractor shall disclose the percentage (%) of the work to be completed by each subcontractor. 4.2 Below is a preliminary Scope of Work but the County is open to review alternatives: 4.2.1 Provide engineered drawings for construction of new poured barrier wall. 4.2.2 Remove concrete 30 inches wide by Length of wall and turn backs. 4.2.3 Dowel rebar into existing slab and pour new footer 30 inches wide by minimum 12 inches deep. 4.2.4 Construct 10-inch-wide poured wall with number five rebar mat 16 inch on center using 4000 psi line pump mix. 4 - 8-foot turn backs toward warehouse area to provide stability and boundaries with doorway to office to split designated cardboard storage areas. 4.2.4 Install 24-inch Tee roughly 10 feet on center toward office area leaving gap between new wall tees and CMU block. 4.2.5 Install 6" x 6" x 1/2" angle iron epoxied with 6" anchors to existing slab 6" in front of wall for forklift fork bump stops. 4.2.6 Remove and reset any plumbing or electrical needed to repair CMU block. 4.2.7 Remove existing damaged CMU block from office wall in sections and replace with new block. 4.2.8 Tuck point all other areas as needed. 4.2.9 Paint existing wall on interior. 4.2.10 Removal of all trash, concrete and dirt. 4.2.11 Section off work area. 4.2.12 Perform on-site management daily for entire length of project. 4.2.13 Construction of new poured wall to be done in two separate sections to allow for storage of cardboard bales to during construction on one side, then switch to the other side once one wall is erected.
