The Parish of Jefferson, authorized by Resolution No. 144735. is hereby soliciting the submittal of a Statement of Qualifications (Technical Evaluation Committee (TEC) Questionnaire) from persons or firms interested and qualified to provide professional architectural and engineering services related to the design and construction administration of the Rheem Facility Renovations. The Rheem Facility, located at 4901 Jefferson Highway, is in need of renovation. The facility consists of multiple buildings and is shared by multiple departments, each with their own specific requirements. As general requirements, the project will include, but not limited to, the following items: o Sleeping quarters to accommodate male and female employees. o Shower/locker rooms for male and female employees. o Addition of water heaters (preferable tankless) to accommodate showers. o Addition of additional office to house night dispatch call center. o Remodel of kitchen and bathrooms. o Addition of covered overhang area for high water vehicles. o Additional storage o Existing open areas to be enclosed for climate control. o Upgrade of outdated HVAC system. o Upgrade windows. o Replace insulation in building and insulate warehouse ceiling. o Roof repair/coating (approx. 50,000 sq. ft.). o Replace fire alarm and sprinkler system. o Renovate interior office space. o Refurbish warehouse floor (uneven, cracks, pot holes, etc.). o Coat exterior of building. o Addition of outside facilities to include protective/safe storage for specialized equipment & vehicles. o Make an outside area available to relocate inventory items from the Water Pipe Yard at 3600 Jefferson Hwy. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
