Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in La Quinta, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; swimming pool; and theater / auditorium.
Lake Cahuilla Modernization Project Value of contract is estimated at $8M $10M. The project generally consists of the construction of: Restroom and swimming pool renovation, sport court, concrete outdoor amphitheater, shade shelters, asphalt repaving, and water valve replacements . Restroom and swimming pool renovation, sport court, concrete outdoor amphitheater, shade shelters, playground equipment replacement and asphalt paving. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California Contractor License(s): A, B The successful Bidder and its subcontractors shall pay all workers on the Project not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, California, for the type of work performed and the locality in which the work is to be performed, per sections 1770 et seq. of the CA Labor Code. Prevailing wage rates are on file at the District and are available on request or at online. Each bid must be submitted on the bid form provided in the bid documents and accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and surety company, or certified check, or cashier's check in favor of the Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District, or cash, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. The contract awardee shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond for the Project. The successful Bidder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the District to ensure performance under the Contract, in accordance with the provisions of Public Contract Code section 22300. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 75 days after the date set for the opening of bids. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. DVBE (3%) The District anticipates issuing a Notice to Proceed to the successful Contractor in October - November, 2024. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Bunker Restroom North -Replace all lights with new LEDs. Remove existing tile and replace with new tile, replace existing flush valves, plumbing fixtures. Provide new paint, toilet partitions, and toilet accessories. 2. Pool Restroom - Replace existing flush valves, plumbing fixtures, and floor drains. New toilet accessories. Replacement of FRP and with new ceramic tile. Replace existing doors and repaint interior & exterior of building. Replace existing roofing with new asphalt shingles, metal flashing and provide cement board fascia. Replace existing prefabricated metal vent and exhaust fans. Install new condensing unit and wall mounted fan unit. Replace all lights with new LED's. 3. Bunker Restroom South -Replace all lights with new LEDs. Remove existing tile and replace with new tile, replace existing flush valves, plumbing fixtures. Provide new paint, toilet partitions, and toilet accessories. 4. RV Campground Restroom - Replace existing flush valves, plumbing fixtures, and floor drains. New toilet accessories. Replacement of FRP and with new ceramic tile. Replace existing doors and repaint interior & exterior of building. Replace existing roofing with new asphalt shingles, metal flashing and provide cement board fascia. Replace existing prefabricated metal vent and exhaust fans. Replace all lights with new LED's. Remove and replace existing concrete at shower area. 5. Pool Equipment Building - Replace existing exterior doors, and replace existing exhaust fan. Construction work shall be limited to the following hours: October 1, 2024 - April 30, 2025: 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. May 1, 2025 - September 30, 2025: 6:00 a.m. - 7 p.m. October 1, 2025 - end of project: 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m Job-3027
