Question Deadline 09/13/2024 at 10:00 PM CT Question Cuttoff Date & Time Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination. All lines are tied. Approved Brands Approved brands are listed on the line item tab for each bid line. DOT is allowing for pre-bid substitutions. Responders must submit the Pre-Bid Substitution Request for Approval of Material or Product Form, including alternate brand specifications for purposes of comparison to approved brands based on the same or higher level of performance. The form can be found in the attachment tab and instruction are located in the activity tab as well as on the form. All submissions must need to be received on or before the date and time listed on the form to be considered for evaluation. Contract Award The Contractor will be awarded a twelve (12) month contract with an option to renew for five (5) additional years in twelve (12) month increments. Renewals are not a guarantee and must be mutually agreed upon between the contractor and the DOT. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders past work performance, and capacity. Estimated Quantities The Iowa DOT estimates a purchase of 54 Pumps on the initial order. The exact amount of Pumps purchased per year is dependent on funding and Iowa DOT final approval. At this time, it should be understood there are no guaranteed minimum purchases and actual purchases may vary considerably based on actual needs throughout the contract period.
