Reference Number 0000277174 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/09/11 01:00:00 PM EDT The objective of the work is to successfully implement this project as per the approved scope, schedule and cost parameters and to provide the Client with the appropriate cost control and fiscal accountability. The Design Consultant and the Contractor will prepare the monthly progress payment reports that the Owner’s Representative will incorporate into their monthly reports. The Owner’s Representative will need to provide financial reports. The Owner’s Representative must: Advocate for the First Nation’s interest and work to ensure positive project outcomes for the First Nation; Facilitate with the Municipality of Leamington to coordinate with the Drainage Act requirements Coordinate supporting of bylaw formation with the Municipality of Leamington Be familiar with the funding and scope requirements of the Project Team and any funding partners; Complete any status or budget reporting required by any funding partners; Define and confirm criteria in the areas of cost control, budgeting, scheduling, change order and quality control; Keep the Project Team (and others, as appropriate) informed of the project status through monthly physical/financial reporting; Oversee community information sessions for the project; Oversee all phases and aspects of the project and ensure strict conformity to the objectives of the project to meet Caldwell First Nation; and Prepare the Terms of Reference (ToR) to retain a Design Consultant for the design and contract administration services The main objective of this project is to rehabilitate the existing dyke located on the southern side of Hillman's Marsh. The aim is to utilize green infrastructure and avoid catastrophic damages to the Caldwell First Nation lands and surrounding areas. The Owner’s Representative will be responsible for providing oversight on behalf of the First Nation for the design, tendering, and construction phases.
