Renovation of an educational facility in Kennesaw, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 12,953-square-foot educational facility.

The project scope is based on the renovation of 12,953 Sq.Ft. at Suite 109 and select portion of Suite 115, located in Kennesaw, GA within the Kennesaw campus area of Kennesaw State University at Chastain Pointe Building 100. The renovation will be focused on accommodating the new buildout for the use of Kennesaw State University's College of the Arts (COTA). The COTA Visual Arts programs will include three computer labs, 2D Foundation classroom, Maker Space, Illustration I and II classrooms (CP 115), as well as support spaces. The COTA programs will be relocating from their existing space in KC Visual Arts building to this new renovated space at Chastain Pointe. The KSU 2016 Master Plan and the recent 2020 update envision transitioning Chastain Pointe to an "Arts District" through a series of small capital projects. COTA's Dance program has already benefited from renovations to Chastain Pointe Building 300 which created several dance studios for their growing Dance program. The Chastain Pointe Building 200 houses support spaces for the Theater and Performance Studies programs. The proposed renovation in Suite 109 will continue the Master Plan vision of a KSU Arts District. Project Delivery Method The delivery method for this Project will be design-bid-build and, as a minimum, will employ the services of a Design Professional and a Commissioning Agent in addition to the services of the General Contractor.
