Scope of Work The College intends to contract for the Chilled Water Coil Replacement in the Classroom Laboratory Building (CLB) on the Colleges main campus. JCCC is requesting bids of replacing chilled water coils on air handlers 1 and 2 at our Classroom Laboratory Building (CLB). Contractors shall remove and install manufactured new coils. Clarification Deadline 9/4/2024 5:00 PM Clarifications shall submit questions via the tab on the JCCC Procurement Portal electronic. It is also recommended for the bidder to coordinate with Kevin Swisher, Maintenance Supervisor cell 785-766-7498 email kswishe3@jccc.edu to site-measure size in order to have the coils built. Notice of award based on the current bid due date will be on or after September 11, 2024. The Agreement will continue until all deliverables have been satisfactorily met as specified in this Section 1 and the Agreement but shall not extend beyond January 31, 2025, unless agreed upon by both parties by written amendment. A bid guaranty equal to five percent (5%) of the bid total and made payable to Johnson County Community College Performance Guarantee (Performance Bond): Prior to initiation of any work, the successful Contractor will be required to submit a Performance Bond to Procurement Services for the total amount (100%) of the Agreement as security for the faithful performance of this Agreement. the College reserves the right to accept or reject Responses on each item or service separately or as a whole, to reject any or all Responses, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to contract in the best interest of the College.
