The Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government ("Metro Government") is now accepting Proposals for Downtown Street Network Plan. Recognizing two-way streets are proven to be safer and simpler for all road users, especially pedestrians, Louisville Metro Government requests a proposal for overall network recommendations for traffic flow changes for the specified study area to be converted from one-way to two-way traffic flow, as appropriate. Consultant to review roadways within the Study Area and provide recommendations for typical cross sections and traffic signal removals or modifications needed for conversion. Bicycle, pedestrian, transit and on street parking facilities will be considered. Recommendations will outline any necessary phasing for implementation and serve as the basis for future detailed design. Deadline to submit Questions Sep 6th 2024, 3:00 PM EDT
