Board of Trustees Anderson County Fire Protection District (ACFPD) is accepting SEALED bids for construction of a Training Facility to be located at 1094 Mount Eden Road, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. The Training Center will be an addition to the Current ACFPD Station 3 Building. Any bids may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bid but no proposer shall withdraw their bid within 45 days after the actual bid opening thereof. The ACFPD reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities in any bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the Fire District. Construction of a 46'x 28' fire training facility constructed attached to the existing station. o Site preparation will include approximately 4 feet of backfill 40 feet out from existing structure. o All backfill will need to be compacted and structurally sound. o The foundation of structure should be poured in a monolithic pour with steel reinforcement no less than 8 inches around foundation perimeter and 4 inches for the pad depth. o Primary building construction will be wood framed. o Metal sheeting light gray metal on sides charcoal gray on the roof. o Roof trusses will be mono/shed style trusses. o Building will require a French door for the main entry with an awning covering it and an entry door into the existing station. o Wall against existing building will be changed from metal, spray foamed, and then drywalled. o As well as 2-36-inch double hung windows on the roadside. o All interior walls are to be finished dry walled and painted. o Insulation is to be closed cell spray foam. o The HVAC system should be an adequate mini split unit. o All electrical and plumbing is to be to Anderson County code. o GFI plugs and a tankless hot water heater along with LED lighting. o There will need to be one restroom with sleeves and piping to add in the kitchen area at a later date. o There will need to be a 20 x 30 parking area 6 inches thick with steel reinforcements that will connect down to the existing apron. o Gutters and downspouts will need to be installed with water diverted away from the structure. o All finished grading will need to have a slope away from foundation to ensure longevity and prevent water issues. o All unused construction material and debris must be removed from site upon completion of the project
