Milling & Resurfacing, E Hanover Avenue (C.R. 623) in the Townships of Hanover & Morris for the Morris County Department of Public Works, Division of Engineering & Transportation consisting of, but not limited to, Railroad Protective Liability Insurance, Railroad, Permits, Training, & Fees, 64 Hr Railroad Flagger, 23,350 S.Y. HMA Milling, 3" or Less, 3,085 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course, 56 S.Y. Concrete Sidewalk, Reinforced, 6" Thick, 4 S.Y. Detectable Warning Surface, 160 L.F. 9"x20" Concrete Vertical Curb, 190 L.F. Beam Guide Rail, 1 Unit Tangent Beam Guide Rail Terminal, 1 Unit Beam Guide Rail Anchorage, Reconstructed & Reset Inlets, Warning & Regulatory Signs, in addition to other miscellaneous items. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) (not to exceed $20,000.00) of the total bid, payable to the County of Morris, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to the Bidder, they will enter into a contract and provide the necessary bonds and insurance as required by the County and the Division of Risk Management. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond as specified in the Contract Documents. EACH BID MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH A CONSENT OF SURETY which states that the surety company will provide the Bidder with the performance bond specified in the Contract Documents in the event the Bidder is awarded the Contract. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bid and Proposal requests herein are solicited through a fair and open process, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A20.4 et seq. The vendor shall maintain all documentation related to products, transactions, or services under this contract for a period of five years from the date of final payment. Such records shall be made available to the New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller upon request. No oral interpretation and or clarification of the meaning of the specifications for any goods and services will be made to any bidder. Such request shall be in writing, addressed to the Director of Purchasing mcpurchasing@co.morris.nj.us or as otherwise stipulated in the specification. In order to be given consideration, a written request must be received at least ten (10) business days (Saturday, Sunday and holidays excluded), prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bid for goods and services
