Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Temple, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The approximate extent and character of the Work is generally described as follows: Construction of a new concession/restroom building (850 SF), at Union Park located at 1033 GA-101 Temple, GA 30179. Slab on grade with reinforced concrete masonry unit construction. Bidders shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Laws and comply with same. All questions must be submitted in writing to purchase@paulding.gov no later than 12:00 noon on September 18th, 2024. All questions will be answered in the form on an addendum. No verbal communication will supersede the bid documents. The time allowed for Completion is 150 days from the issuance of notice to proceed. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the OWNER in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract or, in lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or cash in equal amount. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after the day of the Bid opening, but OWNER may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to that date. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities and re-advertise.
