The Project consists of the removal and replacement of the existing roof, removal and replacement of the existing carpeting, and removal and replacement of the existing furnaces and air conditioning units at the Redbank Valley Library located at 720 Broad Street, New Bethlehem, PA. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check on a solvent bank or a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10 percent of the Bid total, payable to the Owner in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The applicable wage predetermination is included in the Project Manual. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the successful bid amount. All contractors on this Project are required to ensure that employees and applicants will not be discriminated against because of race, creed, color, religion, sex, age, handicap, marital status or national origins; and, that the statutes and regulations of federal and state law regarding non-discrimination are met. This project is supported in part through a grant from the Office of Commonwealth Libraries, Pennsylvania Department of Education, with funds provided from the Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund.
