Anticipated Commencement of Update December 16, 2024 Anticipated Award date Week of September 9, 2024 Northcentral Technical College (NTC) maintains fair and impartial relations with employees, applicants for employment, and students without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, religion, sex, disability, age, political affiliation, marital status, sexual orientation, ancestry, membership in the national guard, state defense force, or any reserve component of the military forces of the United States and of this state, or the use or nonuse of lawful products off the employer's premises during non-working hours. Minority is defined as a person who is a citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident of the United States, who is a member of one of the following groups When requested within the specification or scope of services, a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or money order for 5% of the bid must accompany all bids to be considered. When requested, a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the awarded bid must be furnished by the successful Vendor within ten (10) days of receipt of the purchase order. NTC recognizes as MBEs/WBEs those firms which have been certified as such by the following agencies: Joint Certification, Wisconsin Department of Development, the National Minority Business Directory, or other agencies. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) - is defined as a small business organized for profit that is at least fifty-one percent (51%) owned and controlled by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals and whose management and daily operations are controlled by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals who own it. The individual(s) must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States and someone who experiences, or continues to experience, substantial difficulty in achieving business related success due to at least three (3) of the following disadvantages: Disadvantaged with respect to Education; Disadvantaged with respect to Employment; Disadvantaged with respect to Residence or Business Location; Social Disadvantage and Lack of Business Training. NTC reserves the right to cancel any resulting purchase order or contract for failure of the Vendor to comply with the terms, conditions, and specifications of this IFB. NTC shall own the copyright for any intellectual property and versions thereof, and all works based upon, derived from, or incorporating works thereof, created solely as a result of an awarded contract. NTC, as the holder of these intellectual property rights, shall possess the right to reproduce the intellectual property for distribution. Bid motes. Equipment: Kewanee Scotch Generator- Serial # N3699- 250 Hp -Hot Water Boiler - Full replacement of all internal controls including ignition modules, contactors, sensors, and damper actuators. - Full replacement of natural gas and oil fuel pilot and main train including fuel oil filters and natural gas safety shutoffs. - Replacement of fuel oil pump. - Replacement of combustion air fan. - New Limpsfield LCNO 30 or equivalent burner o Designated maximum firing rate of 10.5 MMBTU/hr o To fire Natural Gas and #2 Fuel Oil *Controls need to be compatible with Alerton BAS* Alternate: - Route combustion air outside with damper
