Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Andover, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Andover is seeking qualifications from professional contractors to provide construction management of park improvements in conformance with the Andover Central Park Master plan. The scope of the project under consideration includes the replacement of the Andover Central Park Lodge. Lost in the April 2022 tornado, the former Lodge building was approximately 4,000 square feet, and served the community in a variety of ways for both public and private events. Project goal is to start construction in December of 2024. It is critical to the City that the Lodge facility is functional for the 2025 summer event season at the Capitol Federal Amphitheater.
