The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting submittals for the construction of the following project: Elevator Modernization - State Capitol Complex Capitol Preservation Board Salt Lake City, Utah Project Description: Modernize 2 traction elevators in the capitol building and establish a 5 year maintenance agreement covering all 18 elevators and lifts on the capitol site. The contractor is responsible for ensuring that delivery to DFCM of all submittals is made by the deadlines established by the Project Schedule. The contractor shall comply with and require all of its subcontractors to comply with the license laws as required by the State of Utah. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to the Division of Facilities Construction and Management on the AIA Document A310 - 2010 Bid Bond form, or equivalent, shall accompany the bid submitted to DFCM via email at dfcm_vbs@utah.gov. The modernization contract will be issued upon completion of this Selection and window for completing modernization work will begin on March 10, 2025, after the 2025 general legislative session ends. It is expected to be completed by October 31, 2025. There currently is no maintenance agreement and the new maintenance agreement will begin upon completion of this selection process.
