Demolition, site work and paving for a playground / park / athletic field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.

This project involves improvements to an existing municipal park, including, but not limited to, clearing and grubbing; existing site feature demolition and protection; unclassifed bulk excavation; erosion and sediment control measures; asphalt paving; concrete work including existing stair replacement; and associated site restoration, complete in place. Proposals shall be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked on the outside with the words "Overlook Park Phase II Improvements Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages must be paid on this Contract. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certifed Check or Bid Bond from a Surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of the Borough of Whitehall in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within ten (10) days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certifcates of Insurance in the amounts specifed, as well as Certifcates of Workman's Compensation must be fled with the executed Agreement. the Borough expressly reserves the right to reject all bids, and specifcally reserves the right to award to the lowest responsible, responsive and Borough Pre-qualifed Bidder a contract for all or any portions of the work listed in the Proposal, and in awarding a contract for less than the total work listed, or less than all portions of the work listed, the contract price will be determined from the total quantities for each item listed and the unit price bid for each item listed.
