Site work for a water / sewer project in Lower Montague, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work covered under this contract consists of: 1. Demolition and removal of the existing concrete slip. 2. Construction of a new reinforced pre-cast concrete slip. 3. Supply and installation of concrete rip rap rock groin. The existing slipway will be demolished, including the removal of underlying earth, disposed. It will be replaced with new rock fill and class A gravel, topped with larger precast rebar-reinforced concrete panels extending slightly beyond the original footprint. These panels will be connected with steel rebar, maintaining the original footprint. A rock groin and slipway toe will be added, increasing the area by approximately 75m2. The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by March 15th, 2025. The estimated contract period will be 5 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/10/01.
