The Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport District (District) is seeking competitive bids (Bids) from qualified bidders (Bidders) that are interested in providing and installing auxiliary passenger boarding bridge mounted equipment including preconditioned air and fixed ground power units and associated retrofit work on passenger boarding bridges at the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (Airport) in Greer, SC. This item consists of the CONTRACTOR purchasing and delivering two (2) PreConditioned Air (PCA) units to accompany the new Passenger boarding Bridges (PBB) that have been procured under a separate agreement with the District. All work is to be completed in accordance with the equipment manufacturer's requirements. The gate locations and the required equipment / work items at each location are as follows: Gate PBB Manufacturer/Model Work / Task Item A0 TKAS TB 41-19.5 PBB Install New PCA Unit B5 TKAS TB 41-19.5 PBB Install New PCA Unit The Owner has awarded a separate procurement package from Thyssen Krupp Airport Solutions (TKAS) that includes providing and installing two (2) new passenger boarding bridges (PBBs) and their fixed walkways at Gates A0 and B5. TKAS is the manufacturer and installer of the new PBBs and Fixed Bridges and is referred to as TKAS or PBB Contractor in this document. The two contractors shall be required to coordinate work elements and work schedules together in order to complete the contracted work per the schedule outlined in the separate procurement packages. The new PCA equipment system shall be installed by TKAS and integrated with each new PBB. There is no pre-bid conference scheduled for this IFB. The successful Bidder shall be required, within fourteen (14) consecutive calendar days after receipt of a notice of award, to execute and return the Contract, as presented to it, as well as provide the required insurance documentation and the Payment and Performance Bonds required by the Contract.
