However, the Contractor may perform incidental work items for which it does not hold the required work type provided the cost of the work does not exceed 5% of the total bid. The Contractor may also perform Work Type 26 (Structural steel painting) without holding the required work type provided the total area to be painted does not exceed 700 SF per structure. The Contractor may not perform any quantity of Work Type 55 or 56 unless they hold the required work type.
