The bid is comprised of the following principal items and approximate quantities: 28,600 LF of 36" DI Watermain Miscellaneous Appurtenances and Work Prequalification of Bidders is not required. This project is considered a Public Works project and is governed by competitive bid laws as contained in Title 39 of the Alabama Code. Bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, and Bond Agents should be familiar with this code. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty days from the date set for receiving of the same. This project is governed by the applicable bid laws and practices of the State of Alabama.
