Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The scope of services includes an assessment, hydraulic evaluation, and technical memorandum documenting the scope of improvements needed to retrofit the Owner's sand filters to improve the condition and capacity and to mirror the existing contact chamber. The Engineering Services Provider selected will take the project from initial engineering design to providing complete construction plans and construction bid specifications with all associated documentation ready for project construction bidding. Following the design and demolition along with construction of the new contract chamber. General Services: o Engineering Design o Contract Procurement (Bid and Award) Support o Contract Management and Construction Oversight o TCEQ meetings. o CT profile calculations or revisions. o Construction materials testing. Additional services anticipated for the new contact chamber include: o Geotechnical services o Plant Rerate. All written inquiries must be submitted no later than 2:00 P.M., October 3, 2024. It is important that all respondents have a clear understanding of the specifications and scope of work required in this solicitation. This RFQ requires that qualifications be submitted without any cost information. The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions and to waive technicalities, to re-advertise, to proceed otherwise when the best interests of said City will be realized hereby informalities in submissions. Please provide three (3) copies of the submission along with one (1) electronic file of the submission. Qualifications must have written on the envelope: "RFQ for Engineering Services for Wastewater Plant Upgrades. - City of Sulphur Springs - Attention Lesa Smith."
