This project will fund the replacement of structurally deficient water mains and appurtenances in Fiscal Year 2026. Mains are selected by researching the maintenance history of the system and identifying those that are undersized, corroded, and subject to breaks. The project scope includes approximately 8,000 linear feet (which represents 0.6 percent of the City's Water Distribution System) of mains and services on various streets within the City, including areas in Midtown, Charleston Terrace, Ventura, and University Park neighborhoods. This project is included in the City of Palo Alto's FY 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of December 26, 2024, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Construction is anticipated from 2025/2026.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
