The Scope of Work for this project includes demolition and renovations to the existing Montgomery County Historic Courthouse Office Interiors in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee to remove existing vinyl wall coverings, prep & paint existing walls, remove existing carpet & ceramic tile flooring, replace with luxury vinyl plank flooring, and remove & rebuild the existing reception desk in the specified 2nd floor offices. Work required for painting of existing walls includes but is not limited to: removal of existing vinyl wall coverings, patching holes & damaged existing drywall, sealing existing drywall, skim coating repaired & sealed existing walls with thinned joint compound & painting existing walls. Work required for new flooring includes but is not limited to: removal of existing glued down carpet & ceramic tile flooring, prepping concrete surface, and installation of luxury vinyl plank flooring and limited vinyl base. Work required for replacing the reception desk includes but is not limited to: removal of existing reception desk, providing plastic laminate clad cabinetry and wood trim to match existing. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors in the State of Tennessee in strict accordance with State regulations. No bid will be opened unless the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid provides the following information: the Contractor's name, address, and license number; the date of the license expiration; and a quotation of that part of the license classification applicable to the bid. Each Bidder must deposit (with his/her bid) bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for sixty (60) days following the bid opening. The right to reject any or all bids and to wave technicalities is reserved by the owner.
