Haywood County is seeking qualified company for commissioning of building MEP systems for the Detention Center expansion project. Haywood County is seeking proposals for commissioning of building MEP systems in compliance with Section C408 of the 2018 North Carolina Energy Conservation Code (2018 NCECC) and as described in the attached commissioning scope document. The Haywood County Detention Center Expansion is an addition to an existing Law Enforcement mixed use facility. The existing facility is an approximately 57,000 square foot building located at 1620 Brown Avenue in Waynesville, North Carolina. This addition consists of approximately 30,000 square feet with 150+ or - additional beds. This addition consists of detention space only. Construction is currently underway. Questions must be received not less than three business days before proposals are due. Answers to questions will be forwarded to all interested parties.
