City of Savannah, Renovation of the Thomas Gamble Building, 6 East Bay Street, Savannah GA. Project includes exterior preservation, interior rehabilitation/preservation, façade changes and complete interior build-out to an existing historic building. Sealed proposals for the Thomas Gamble Building Renovation/Restoration (PB756) will be received from Pre-qualified Bidders determined by the previous RFSQ for said project All bids are due electronically via the supplier portal. All questions regarding this event must be received by September 27, 2024, by 12:00 PM EST. Questions must be submitted in writing to Cory Miller (cmiller02@savannahga.gov). The City of Savannah reserves the right at any time to modify, waive, or otherwise vary the terms and conditions of this Invitation to Bid including, but not limited to, the deadlines for the submission, the submission requirements, and the Scope of Work. The City further reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, or to withdraw the Invitation to bid at any time. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond on the form included hereto and shall be secured by a surety company, certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of the bid. A contract performance and payment bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required of the successful bidder Payment and performance bonds may be waived for a contract under $100,000. The bid bond for this contract will not be waived. The City of Savannah reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
