City of Milbank, Grant County, South Dakota will receive competitive quotes for Milbank Cemetery Ash Tree Removal Project Location: 1001 E. 4th Ave, Milbank, SD Project Manager: Steve Pendergrass, City Administrator The Emerald Ash Borer has become a significant threat in South Dakota. In an attempt to protect the visitors to our cemetery, it has been determined that the removal of all Ash trees is in the best interest of the citizens of Milbank. This quote will be for the removal of approximately 15 marked trees located within the Milbank City Cemetery. Scope of Work: 1. Cutting and removing ash trees within the greater area, in and around the Milbank Cemetery. 2. Felled trees will be taken to the City Landfill. 3. Grinding of all stumps and removal of waste. 4. The Parks Dept will backfill and seed the holes. The City of Milbank reserves the right to reject any quotes and waive irregularities and make award(s) as deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Milbank.
