Generator Bank Retubing Project. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals by Reworld Burnaby to engage an organization to submit a competitive proposal for performing a feasibility study and detailed engineering to support the Generator Bank Retubing project at the Metro Vancouver Waste-to-Energy Facility in Burnaby has closed. As a result of this project, the consultant will determine whether one or both of the drums need to be replaced along with the tubes. Work shall include, but is not limited to: Act as Coordinating Registered Professional for the project, provide allsubmissions and schedules as required by the Authority Having Jurisdiction. Provide high-level schedule including major design, procurement, and construction milestones. Issue a stamped Generator Bank Retubing feasibility study report along with any proposed design option(s). Issue project specifications as required to effectively manage project quality, function and enduse Provide Preliminary design drawings. Develop installation methodology. Complete a flue gas pattern analysis to evaluate opportunities for improvement of flow paths and optimization of the boilers. Provide Class 5 cost estimate (+/-50% accuracy) for detailed design, equipment, construction management and construction costs. Detailed engineering. Preparation of fabrication and installation technical bid documents. Support through procurement and commissioning Permitting due diligence/support.
