Through this Request for Proposals (this "RFP"), the Joint Water Commission ("JWC") seeks written proposals from qualified vendors able to provide comprehensive maintenance, repair, and operation ("MRO") services including but not limited to design, installation, diagnoses, repair, and routine maintenance services for water pumps and electrical motors powering water treatment and distribution equipment. The JWC utilizes a variety of electrically driven motors and pumps throughout the water treatment and distribution processes. Motors and pumps vary in size from fractional horsepower up to 1,000 HP motors. Motor voltages range from 120v single phase to 4,160v medium voltage 3 phase. This RFP is a multiple-award opportunity. The contract(s) awarded from this RFP will enhance the JWC's bandwidth in responding to routine maintenance requirements, emergency work, design-build projects, and part repair/replacement needs. Contractors must have a proven capacity to provide routine, scheduled services as well as services on a flexible, on-call, periodically short notice, and emergency basis. The JWC seeks firms with experience working on motors, pumps, and systems similar to those indicated in the RFP.
